The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a single-lane closure on I-65 southbound in Tippecanoe County. Beginning on or after the morning of Tuesday, November 11, crews will close the right southbound lane of I-65 between County Road 725 N. and just south of Swisher Road, located near Battle Ground. This will allow crews to safely continue work on an added travel lanes project in the area. Work for this portion of construction is anticipated to last until the end

A woman is dead after being shot when a cleaning crew went to the wrong address in Whitestown. Police received a report of a possible break-in before 7 a.m. Wednesday. Police responded to find a woman shot to death on the front porch of a home.
