He was born September 22, 1927, in Lebanon, a son of the late Oran Emery and Mildred Lavonne (Ridge) Ryan. He was first married to Betty Jo (Anderson) Ryan on July 1, 1950, in Lebanon. She passed away on November 9, 1993. On March 1, 1997, he was married to Mary Alice (White) Glendenning Ryan in Indianapolis. She preceded him in death on December 31, 2015.

Morning Fire Damages Office Building
At approximately 7:25 Thursday morning, fire crews were dispatched to 1608 N. Lebanon Street on a reported commercial building fire. Employees of the building’s businesses arrived at work to the smell of smoke and immediately notified the Boone County Communications Center. Lebanon firefighters arrived on scene within minutes of the initial 9-1-1 call and were met with smoke in the building. Police Investigating Two-Vehicle Crash In West Lafayette
Police are investigating a two-vehicle crash that left a woman in critical condition. The vehicles collided head-on in the eastbound lanes of Sagamore Parkway in West Lafayette on Monday.
