Elizabeth “Susie” Lewis, 77, of Lebanon, died Friday, May 15 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Susie was born in Lebanon on Christmas Eve in 1948, a daughter of the late Robert and Betty Ann (Dickerson) Smith. She graduated from the Lebanon High School and graduated nursing school in 1968. The caucus to select a new Clinton County Sheriff is scheduled for Saturday May 23, at 8:30 a.m. at the Frankfort Police Department, located at 1740 W. State Road 28 in Frankfort. Party officials stated that all interested candidates must complete a CEB-5 form and submit a letter of intent no later than Wednesday, May 20. Jared James Kinslow, 48, of Thorntown, Indiana, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2026. He was born January 25, 1978, in Lebanon, Indiana, a son of Patricia (Leath) Kinslow and the late Dennis R. Kinslow. On August 29, 1997, he married Erica (Newby) Kinslow; she survives. Jared was a 1996 graduate of Western Boone High School and attended Wyoming Tech Trade School. He worked at Industrial Pallet Corporation in Tippecanoe County. Jared attended Lighthouse Baptist Church in Lebanon.
