City of Frankfort leadership announced today that the Frankfort Common Council will consider a proposal to develop a data center in Frankfort at the Logix Innovation Campus from DataONE: Data Observation Network for Earth. At Monday night’s Lebanon City Council meeting, Lebanon Fire Department swore in two newly promoted Fire Officers and introduced our newly appointed Fire Marshal and Fire Inspector. Kristopher Perry, a 9-year veteran of the department, was promoted from Lieutenant to the newly created rank of Division Chief of Training and Safety. Chief Perry will oversee the department’s incumbent training programs, coordinate new recruit training, and serve as LFD’s Incident Safety Officer.

Linda Payne, 63, of Lebanon, died Friday, September 11 at Signature Parkwood in Lebanon. She was the daughter of the late Robert W. and Nannie (Lamb) Woolery. Linda graduated from the Lebanon High School with the Class of 1982 and then married Gary B. Payne on September 25, 1982, a loving union that lasted 44 years. The Clinton County Sheriff’s Office announces the arrest of Andrew D. Haskell, of Forest, Indiana, following an investigation into allegations of domestic battery involving two minors. As a result of the investigation, an arrest warrant was issued for Haskell. On September 10, 2026, deputies with the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office arrested Haskell on the outstanding warrant.
