Pending school board approval, Zionsville has named Andy Weaver to take over the helm of the Eagles' Boys basketball program. Weaver replaces J.R. Howell, who left Zionsville earlier this month to take a coaching position at Iowa United Prep. Weaver most recently was the head coach at Plainfield. Weaver has also been the head coach at Pioneer and Western, amassing 422 wins, six sectional and one regional title.

Former City of Lebanon Chief of Police Sam Myers passed away unexpectedly Saturday May 23 at the age of 59. A lifelong resident of Lebanon, Sam was a 1984 graduate of Lebanon High School. He went on to attend the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy graduating in 1989. Sam began his career serving Lebanon for 28 years starting out as a patrol officer and working his way up to Chief of Police, retiring in 2016. Brendon Bright was officially sworn in as the new Sheriff of Clinton County on Saturday morning following a Republican caucus. Bright, a 23-year law enforcement veteran will serve the remainder of the current office term through December 31, 2026. Thursday, the Town of Zionsville celebrated the completion of Phase 1 at Carpenter Nature Preserve.
