A woman is dead after being shot when a cleaning crew went to the wrong address in Whitestown. Police received a report of a possible break-in before 7 a.m. Wednesday. The Indiana Department of Transportation announces flagging operations that will impact State Road 47 and S.R. 39 in Boone County for spot paving. The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a road closure that will impact State Road 75 in Jamestown. Beginning on or after Monday, November 3, CSX Transportation will close the crossing on S.R. 75 just north of U.S. 136 for repairs. Work is anticipated to last until the end of the week but is weather-dependent and subject to change. The official detour around the closure is U.S. 136 to S.R. 39 to I-74.
