Boone County Files Charge Against Homeowner Who Allegedly Shot Cleaning Worker
A charge has now been filed against the homeowner accused of shooting a cleaning worker who was at the wrong house. The Boone County Prosecutor's Office announced on Monday that Curt Andersen is charged with voluntary manslaughter. Andersen allegedly shot 32-year-old María Florinda Ríos Pérez De Velásquez on the morning of November 5th. She worked for a cleaning crew that arrived at the wrong address- and police say she never entered the Whitestown home where she was shot.

Frankfort Planning To Honor Frye
Indiana National Guard Specialist Terry Frye, of Lafayette was killed in a crash in Boone County last week while traveling with a convoy out of Frankfort. Frye was a 2021 graduate of Frankfort High School. Evening Lane Closures To Impact I-65
The Indiana Department of Transportation announces evening lane closures that will impact I-65 in Boone County as a part of the ongoing 52 at 65 project. Beginning on or after Monday, November 17, crews will close individual lanes between State Road 32 and S.R. 47 to place pavement markings for traffic to return to its normal pattern. Work for this phase of the project is anticipated to be complete before Thanksgiving but is weather-dependent and subject to change.
