Donald K. Harwood left this world November 11, 2025. We image that he is having biscuits and gravy with our Lord and Savior and several friends and family.
Donald K. Harwood was born January 9th, 1939 to Marvin and Inez Harwood in Hamilton County. He graduated from Westfield High School in 1957.
Donnie had 2 sisters, Velma Hall and Joann Moore, both preceding him in death.
Donnie went into the US Army in September 1958. He was in the service until August 1961.
Donnie married Mary Lou Bitner. They raised 3 children, Michael Harwood (Noimie) and Diane Donohue (Tim) and step-daughter, Kinisha Watkins. They later divorced.
Donnie then married Phyllis “Butch” Stults on September 15, 1985. She preceded him in death.
He mentored his step-children, Bill Stults Jr (deceased) and Yancy Stults (Kathy).
Donnie has 8 grandchildren, Mandy, Heather, Josh, Jenny, David, Yancy Jr, Nathan, and Alyssa. He also has many great grandchildren and great- great grandchildren.
He was a proud member of the VFW and American Legion.
Donnie loved playing poker with his family and watching black and white westerns and movies.
Memorials may be made to the Cancer Society, psoriasis research, or the American Heart Association.
Family and friends will gather Tuesday, November 18, for visitation from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. with Pastor Matt Skiles officiating in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon. Donnie will be laid to rest at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon.
