Clifford Earl Tyler, 65, passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at his home in Lebanon, Indiana surrounded by his beloved daughter and family.
Clifford proudly served in the United States Navy. He was an avid patriot. Following his service Clifford spent over 20 years working as a logistics supervisor at Pearson Education while earning his associate's degree in business administration from Ivy Tech Community College in Indianapolis.
He was an avid collector, especially of gold coins. He found joy in gardening, woodworking, classic cars, and cooking. Clifford enjoyed listening to Classic Rock while working on projects in the garage. He was a proud supporter of the Indianapolis Colts as well as Jeff Gordon when watching NASCAR.
Above all, he cherished spending time with his beloved grandchildren and family. Clifford was a devoted father, grandfather, son, brother, and uncle.
Survivors include his daughter, Miranda Leigh (Ernesto) Sanchez; grandchildren, Mia LeAnn and Gabriela Sanchez; father, Galen Pomfret; siblings, Kelly (Paul) Taylor, Delaina (Crystal) Pomfret, Jay Smith, Mark Pomfret, and Jeffrey (Marilyn) Pomfret; nephews, Joshua (Sandy) Taylor, Elijah (Stacy) Taylor; nieces, Destini (Dustin) Ford, Madison Smith; great nephews, Josiah (Ireland) Taylor, Nathaniel Taylor, Gage Taylor, Kaiden Taylor, Sheldon Ford, Parker Buckingham, and Liam Taylor; and great niece, LeeAnn Bowers.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. Myers Mortuary and Boone County Crematory have been entrusted with his care.
