Wanda Kae Smith Dickerson, 72, of Lebanon, passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at her home surrounded by family. She was born July 29, 1953, in Lebanon, a daughter of the late Paul LaVere Smith and Rubie Mae (Artman) Smith Selby. Wanda married Steven Dickerson on June 28, 2009, and he survives.
She graduated from Lebanon High School with the class of 1971. Wanda had worked numerous jobs until her health forced her to retire in 2014.
Wanda loved her grandchildren with all her heart; they were first and foremost in her life. She enjoyed hand quilting, jigsaw puzzles, and playing cards.
She is survived by her loving husband, Steven Dickerson; children, Danny (Roni) Hale and Angela (Larry) Serrano; step-children, Amy Jo Smith, Scott (Michelle) Dickerson, and Adam (Lindsey) Dickerson; grandchildren, Chiferra (Levi) Burgin, LJ (Raven) Serrano, Destiny Marie Serrano, Destiney Serrano, Faith Elizabeth Crouch, Austin Joseph Crouch, Jeffrey Xavier Serrano, Annabelle and Chloe Witmer, Julliana Dickerson, Tori Jo Smith, and Jaci (James) Coyle; five great grandchildren; and sisters, Norma McBride, Joan McCord, Gladys (Richard) Edwards, and Gloria (John) Knox.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents, Modest and Vinnie Smith McCord, Marie Artman, and William Artman; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; brothers, Danny Smith and Dennis Smith; sister, Wilma Smith McClaine; and nephew, Jason Barrett Smith.
Family and friends will gather Tuesday, January 6, for visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12 p.m. in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon. Wanda will be laid to rest at Center Cemetery in Lebanon.
