Tourism Increased In 2025

At the 3rd Annual State of Tourism, Discover Boone County shared new data showing major growth across 2024 and 2025.

Visitor spending hit $80.7 million in 2024, making Boone County the 4th fastest-growing county for tourism in Indiana with even stronger momentum in 2025.  Here’s what that growth looks like:

• Tourism is now the county’s 13th largest industry

• 700+ local jobs supported and growing

• 1.2 million overnight trips in the past year

• Hotel demand is rising with more on the way
