Repeat Sex Offender Convicted On Multiple Child Molesting Charges

The Boone County Prosecutor’s Office has secured the conviction of Jeffrey L. Alexander, 52, of Zionsville, Indiana, on multiple felony charges related to child molestation, following a three-day jury trial in Boone Superior Court II, presided over by Judge Bruce Petit. Alexander was found guilty of: Child Molesting (Level 1 Felony) Child Molesting (Level 4 Felony) Child Solicitation (Level 5 Felony) Repeat Sexual Offender Enhancement.

After the jury returned a unanimous guilty verdict on all three counts, Alexander admitted to the Repeat Sexual Offender Enhancement, based on a prior 1993 conviction in Montgomery County for Child Molesting.

The charges stem from repeated incidents involving a minor who reported inappropriate contact during visits to Alexander’s home. The victim bravely disclosed the abuse to her mother, who immediately contacted the authorities. The case was prosecuted by Deputy Prosecutors Heidi Jennings and Jordan Clouser, with investigative support from Detective Morganne Carpenter of the Boone County Sheriff’s Office.

The Boone County Prosecutor’s Office extends its gratitude to Sylvia’s Child Advocacy Center, the Whitestown Metropolitan Police Department, and the Zionsville Police Department for their critical assistance during the investigation.
