Honoring Deputy Jacob Pickett

 Monday, Resolution SC0013 passed unanimously through the Indiana House hearing committee, officially designating I-65 between mile markers 137 and 138 as the Deputy Jacob Pickett Memorial Mile. This resolution had previously cleared the Indiana Senate and now moves forward in honoring Deputy Pickett’s legacy and sacrifice.

The Boone County Sheriff's Department extend their deepest gratitude to Senators Buchanan and Ford, as well as Representative Genda, for their unwavering support in making this tribute a reality.
