Home In The Creekstone Way Neighborhood Catches Fire

Thursday afternoon at approximately 3:20 PM the Boone County Communications Center was notified of the report of a possible house fire in the 11,000 block of Creekstone Way in Zionsville. Zionsville firefighters along with crews from Carmel and Whitestown Fire Departments responded to find smoke coming from the roof of the two-story residence. Upon entry firefighters were met with heavy smoke and heat conditions on the second floor and attic. The fire was quickly brought under control in 30 minutes.

Nobody was home at the time of the fire; however, one dog was rescued by firefighters and is okay. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation, and damage estimates may exceed $100,000.
