The Town of Zionsville will host two public information meetings regarding the Downtown Road and Pedestrian Improvements Project. Residents and stakeholders are encouraged to attend to learn more about the initiative and provide input. Orville Thomas Hale, 87, passed away Thursday, November 27, 2025. Memorial Services with Military Rites are planned for 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street in Lebanon, Indiana. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until the time of services.

Sara Jean Harpham, 68, of Lebanon, passed away on Friday, November 21, 2025, at Witham Hospital in Lebanon. Sara was born May 20, 1957, in Indianapolis, the daughter of Thomas K. and Marilyn J. Harding, who preceded her in death. Sara graduated from Lebanon High School in 1975 and completed her post graduate studies at Butler University. Sara married Dale L. Harpham in 1986, and they enjoyed life together traveling and on the lake at their home in Martinsville until his death

On November 29, 2025, at approximately 5:09 PM, the Boone County Sheriff’s Office responded to a single-vehicle crash near the intersection of US 421 and County Road 100 N. Upon arrival, deputies discovered that a blue pick-up truck had slid off the roadway due to weather-related conditions, struck a tree, and caught fire. The Lebanon Lady Tigers Wrestling Team traveled to Columbia City for a two-day premiere wrestling tournament, essentially a mini state meet. The Tigers represented well, finishing 18th out of 54 teams. Coming soon to John Bart & Fordice Road in Lebanon a 3-Way Stop. The goal of the addition of stop signs along John Bart is to make travel safer around Central Elementary .  Expect to see the addition of temporary stop signs early next week. At approximately 4:00 am Tuesday morning, the Zionsville Fire Department was dispatched to a structure fire in the 8700 block of E 200 S in rural Zionsville. Zionsville firefighters arrived to find a fully involved garage fire. Crews were able to bring the fire under control after 30 minutes. Residents were home at the time of the fire. Tonight, Lebanon High School will host a salute to Service Night during the boys' basketball games.  All Active-Duty military and veterans receive free admission.  Veterans will be recognized and honored between the JV and Varsity games.  Lebanon will be wearing camouflage jerseys provided by the National Guard for the games.

Mrs. Madolin Cox, 83, of Lebanon, passed away Monday, November 24, 2025, at Homewood Health Campus in Lebanon.    Madolin was born September 30, 1942, in Indianapolis, a daughter of the late Russell and Maxine (Miller) Hubble.    On August 18, 1963, Madolin married James “Jim” E. The Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame announces its 64th induction class, to be celebrated in ceremonies on Wednesday, March 18, 2026. Included in the list is Lebanon Grad class of 1984 Ed Schilling. As a high school player, the 6-foot-2 guard helped his teams to three sectional and three regional titles.
