Madolin Cox

Mrs. Madolin Cox, 83, of Lebanon, passed away Monday, November 24, 2025, at Homewood Health Campus in Lebanon.

Madolin was born September 30, 1942, in Indianapolis, a daughter of the late Russell and Maxine (Miller) Hubble.

On August 18, 1963, Madolin married James “Jim” E. Cox and they lived around Lebanon for most of their life. On Dec. 2, 1964, they were blessed with their daughter, Yetive A. Cox.

Madolin had worked for Wal-Mart and also had an in-home daycare for many years. She had a great interest in her yard and different flowers. Gardening a large garden that she and her husband shared with a very special couple and gathering the produce for canning and freezing, were a delight as long as her health permitted.

Survivors include her daughter, Yetive Cox of Lebanon; grandson, Dustin L. Cox of Lebanon; and great-grandson, Daniel Cox of Lebanon. Madolin was preceded in death by her husband; two infant children, Eric J. Cox and Regina L. Cox; and brother, Rusty Hubble.

Family and friends will gather Friday, December 5, for visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12 p.m. in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon. You are invited to visit the website where you may sign her online register and leave a personal message at www.strawmyerdrury.com.
