Fatal Single-Vehicle Crash On US 421

On November 29, 2025, at approximately 5:09 PM, the Boone County Sheriff’s Office responded to a single-vehicle crash near the intersection of US 421 and County Road 100 N.

Upon arrival, deputies discovered that a blue pick-up truck had slid off the roadway due to weather-related conditions, struck a tree, and caught fire. The driver, Jordan Perry, 21, of Greenwood, IN, was transported to a local hospital, where she was later pronounced deceased.

The Boone County Fatal Alcohol Crash Team (FACT) was requested and will assume responsibility for the ongoing investigation.
