Two Former Childcare Workers Pleaded Guilty
Two former childcare workers pleaded guilty Thursday to Neglect of a Dependent, a Level 6 felony, in connection with a 1-year-old eating a THC gummy. Stella Latham and Paige Wilson admitted in Boone County Circuit Court that their actions endangered a child’s life or health. The incident happened on January 16, 2024, at Just Be Kids Learning Center in Lebanon. Just Be Kids Learning Center in Lebanon closed in April 2024. Latham and Wilson will be sentenced on January 15 at 10

Boone County Awarded Community Crossings Funds
Boone County is among several Hoosier communities to receive a combined $2.5 million in Community Crossings Awards this month. Boone County Highway Director Nick Parr said, “Boone County received $620,000 and that money will be used for work on one bridge and one small structure.” Through the program, the Indiana Department of Transportation matches up to $1 million annually when localities invest in road and bridge repairs.

Clinton County Officer Involved Shooting Update
The suspect from the officer involved shooting with the Kirklin Deputy Town Marshals has been taken into custody. Zionsville Fire Called To House Fire
At 1:27 pm Friday, the Boone County Communications Center received a 911 call reporting of a house fire in the 2800-block of E CR 700 S in rural Zionsville. Gramlin Continues To Win For The Tigers
On Saturday December 6th Lady Tigers Wrestling Team traveled to Monrovia. Lebanon only had 8 girls competing and placed 11th as a team. Lebanon did have one champion Claira Gramlin at 190lbs.
