At the end of January, the Whitestown Metropolitan Police Department proudly hosted our 2025 Department Awards Banquet, an evening dedicated to celebrating the hard work, dedication, and exemplary service of our officers throughout the past year.
Each of these individuals demonstrated outstanding professionalism, courage, and commitment to our community. Please join us in congratulating this year’s award recipients:
Rookie of the Year
Officer Peter Boldt
Recognized for his outstanding performance, professionalism, and significant contributions during the early years of his police career.
Big Fish Award
Officer Zack Thomas
Honored for a proactive traffic stop that resulted in the seizure of over 20 lbs of marijuana, two firearms, a large sum of U.S. currency, and additional evidence linked to narcotics dealing. Exceptional work that made a major impact.
Life Saving Awards
Awarded to officers whose quick actions and decisive response directly contributed to saving a life:
