Rhode Island Man Caught In Sex Sting

A Rhode Island man who was in Indiana for work is accused of trying to meet a 15-year-old girl for sex.
Ryan Kelley, 39, was charged Aug. 21 in Boone County with:
Attempted sexual misconduct with a minor, a Level 4 felony
Child solicitation, a Level 4 felony
Attempted sexual misconduct with a minor, a Level 5 felony
Child solicitation, a Level 5 felony
Lebanon police carried out the sting on Aug. 17. Kelley had his initial hearing Friday, Aug. 21, and was released from jail Monday after posting bond. He's scheduled to be back in court Oct. 21.
