Thursday night during the Town of Whitestown Fire Board meeting, the new Division Chief of Fire Prevention Anthony "Tony" Smith was sworn in and officially pinned. Tony comes to Whitestown from Avon Fire Department where he served as a Deputy Fire Marshal. Tony served as Lieutenant, Battalion Chief, Fire Marshal, and Operations Chief with the Brownsburg Fire Territory prior to Avon.
