Western Boone Selects Smith As Their Next Coach

Western Boone has their new boys’ varsity basketball coach. Jason Smith a 2015 Western Boone graduate was approved during Monday night’s Western Boone School board meeting. After high school Smith attended Ball State University where he was basketball manager and a graduate assistant. Most recently Smith has been an assistant at Kokomo High School under head coach John Peckinpaugh. At Western Boone Smith will teach physical education.
