WeBo Stars Semi-State Champs

The western Boone Lady Stars softball team has punched their ticket to the state finals by winning the Kokomo Semi state. The Stars defeated Central Noble in the morning semifinal, overcoming a 3-0 deficit to win 6-3, scoring all six runs in the final two innings. In the championship game the Stars were able to defeat Andrean 8 to 6. This is the first Semi State title for Western Boone softball. The Stars will face Tecumseh on Saturday night at 7 p.m. at Purdue's Bittinger Stadium.
