Tonya A. Hamilton

Tonya A. Hamilton, 52, passed away Thursday, August 14, 2025, at her home in Lebanon, Indiana. She was born May 5, 1973, in Lebanon, a daughter of Wayne G. Abraham Jr. and Triesha A. (Parkhurst) Abraham.

Tonya graduated from Lebanon High School with the class of 1991.

On December 1, 2001, she was united in marriage to Jacob Hamilton in Lebanon; he survives.

Tonya enjoyed traveling peaceful country drives, daisies, music, singing, dancing, movies, room service, researching, candles, storms, holidays, animals, Amazon, along with many others. Above all, she loved and cherished her children and grandchildren. Tonya was a cherished daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who will be deeply missed.

Survivors include her parents, Wayne (Triesha) Abraham; sister, Trena (Chris) Stogsdill; husband, Jacob Hamilton; children, Teia (Jacob Mulkey) Duncan, Dylan (Tina) Duncan, Tiffany (Sean Strawther) Strouse, and Austin (Justine Erskine) Hamilton; grandchildren, Jayden 14, Mia 10, Christian 10, Lincoln 8, Micah 8, Eli 6, Phoenix 5, AnnMarie 9 months, Teegan 7 months, and one on the way; and several nieces and nephews.

Tonya was preceded in death by her grandparents, William E. and Martha E. (Hale) Parkhurst and her brother, Wayne G. "A.J." Abraham III.

Memorial Services are planned for 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
