Priscilla "Anne" Breedlove

Surrounded by the family she loved so dearly, Priscilla "Anne" Breedlove, 85, passed away peacefully at her home in Lebanon, Indiana, on Friday, September 18, 2026. While her family’s hearts are heavy with her passing, they find comfort and peace in knowing she is reunited with her beloved husband, Paul Wayne, and their son, Joey.

Anne was born on July 1, 1941, in Boone County, Indiana, to the late John L. and Norma M. (Kinnett) Vanausdall. A lifelong resident of Lebanon, she attended Lebanon High School and spent many years working as a secretary for Larr & Bane Equipment.

On February 8, 1963, Anne married the love of her life, Paul Wayne Breedlove, in Lebanon. Together, they shared 61 beautiful years of marriage, building a life filled with love, laughter, family, and countless memories before his passing on November 21, 2024. Anne treasured their time together, whether surrounded by family and friends or simply enjoying each other’s company. Their love was the foundation of the family they built and a beautiful example of a lifetime of devotion.

Anne was the constant in her family’s lives. She was their steady presence, their biggest fan, and the one who could always be counted on. While Paul Wayne often brought the excitement and chaos, Anne was the quiet strength beside him, cheering harder and loving deeper than anyone could imagine. She never needed to be the center of attention to be the heart of it all.

Family meant everything to Anne. She adored her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and nothing brought her greater joy than time spent together. She celebrated their accomplishments, supported them through life’s challenges, and made each of them feel special in her own quiet, loving way. Her presence was a source of comfort, her love was unwavering, and her devotion to those she held dear never went unnoticed.

Anne also cherished the friendships she made throughout her life. She loved spending time with friends, sharing laughter, and enjoying the simple moments that made life meaningful. She and Paul Wayne were members of Centenary United Methodist Church, where they shared in a community of faith and friendship.

To know Anne was to know a love that was steady, genuine, and unconditional. She was the person who was always there, the familiar face in the crowd, and the one cheering from the sidelines. Her family will forever remember the comfort of her presence, the strength of her love, and the countless ways she made their lives better simply by being there.

Anne leaves behind a family who will miss her beyond words but will carry her love with them always. Though her absence will be deeply felt, there is peace in imagining her once again beside Paul Wayne, with Joseph close by, reunited with those her heart had longed to see.

Anne is survived by her daughters, Terena (Jerry G.) Bowen and Paula (Ron) Sedam; daughter-in-law, Debbie Breedlove; grandchildren, Daniel (Julie) Bowen, Kent (Kasey) Bowen, Whitney (Jacob) King, Garrett (Kaylee) Breedlove, and Luke (Alexis Leo) Sedam; step-granddaughter, Amanda Moore; six great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; sister, Rita (Ron) Barber; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and her beloved husband, Paul Wayne, Anne was preceded in death by her son, Joey Breedlove, and brother, John D. Vanausdall.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, September 25, 2026, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, Lebanon, Indiana, with Pastor Scott Tyring officiating. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Private family burial will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon.
