Suzanne “Susi” Bartlett

Suzanne “Susi” Bartlett, 80, of Lebanon, passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at Crown Pointe of Lebanon. She was born November 21, 1944, in Lebanon, a daughter of the late Judge Charles and Lois (Williams) Thompson. 

 

Susi graduated from Lebanon High School and went on to attend Indiana Business School. She had worked as an administrative assistant for H & W Supply Company and Precision Machine Company. After retirement, she spent several years working alongside her husband, Ron, at Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary.

 

Susi was married to James Dulin for 33 years, until the time of his passing in 1997. After a year or so, mutual friends from high school reintroduced her to Ronald Bartlett. They were very blessed to have celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary. 

 

Susi enjoyed reading, playing cards, going out to eat, and spending time with family and friends. 

 

Survivors include her husband, Ronald Bartlett of Lebanon; children, Todd (Michelle) Dulin, Denise (David) Funkhouser, and Beth Bartlett (Dave Brandeis); grandchildren, Chelsea Dulin, Paul Dewes, Rachel Funkhouser, Hope (Roland) Trusty, Haiden Dulin, Zac Satterfield, Sierra Satterfield, and Cydnee (Alex) Benton; and great grandchild, Carter Trusty. 

 

In addition to her parents and husband, James, Susi was preceded in death by her brother, Dennis Thompson. 

 

Family and friends will gather Friday, August 15, for visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon. Susi will be laid to rest at Zionsville Cemetery.

 

Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to the American Lung Association or to the Crown Pointe Life Enrichment Fund.
