With deep sorrow and much love, we mourn the passing of Sue A. Noland, 67, which occurred on Friday, February 27, 2026, peacefully at home in Danville, Indiana after a long battle fighting pancreatic cancer. She was born on March 30, 1958, in Lebanon, and the soulmate of Paul E. Noland.
Raised in Boone County, Sue was a 1976 graduate of Western Boone High School. She worked as an insurance agent, Tupperware saleswoman, homemaker, babysitter, substitute teacher in North Salem, and jewelry saleswoman.
On October 2, 1982, she was united in marriage to Paul E. Noland at the Old Union Church, in rural Jamestown. During their 43-year marriage, Sue and Paul lived life to the fullest by enjoying trips, concerts, craft shows, antique hunting, and visiting family. Sue was an avid animal lover, especially dogs, cats and ducks. She enjoyed collecting dolls, playing cards and games with her friend group. She enjoyed her lively nights with Euchre and Trivia clubs.
In addition to her beloved husband, Paul, Sue leaves behind her daughters of her heart, Jesi (Matt) Quigley and Jenna (David) Oliver; her grandchildren, Jaxson Quigley, Gracie Quigley, Cole Oliver, and Jameson Quigley; a niece, Laura Gochenour, a nephew, Greg Gochenour, cousins and a brother.
Her journey through life was not always easy, but Sue faced life’s hardships with strength, love, a beautiful smile, a big heart and a laugh that was contagious to all around her. She would like to be remembered as a devoted wife and the best Nana.
A Private Family Gathering was held at Myers Mortuary in Lebanon, Indiana. The Family will host a Celebration of Life at a later date. Boone County Crematory has been entrusted with her cremation arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for a donation in Sue’s honor to be made to a charity or organization of your choosing.
