Ronald “Ron” Lee Castetter

Ronald “Ron” Lee Castetter, 75, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Witham Memorial Hospital in Lebanon, Indiana on December 10, 2020. He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on May 29, 1945; a son of the late Carl and Cora (Tidler) Castetter. Ron was a graduate of Arsenal Tech High School. Following high school, he served in the Indiana National Guard. He was employed by W.W. Grainger, specializing in industrial sales and retired in 2004. Ron was a faithful volunteer at his church and a local food bank and also enjoyed ushering on Sunday mornings. Ron was an avid baseball fan, especially for the Kansas City Royals and enjoyed investment trading. He was a hard worker and deeply loved his family and grandchildren. Ron leaves behind: Two sons: Jeff (SusAnne) Castetter - Lebanon Scott (Andrea) Castetter – Zionsville Five Grandchildren: Aaron (Jordan) Castetter - Clovis, New Mexico Brooke (Ethan) Cothen - Beaumont, Texas Justin Castetter- Zionsville Ryan Castetter-Zionsville Kayla Castetter-Zionsville One Sister: Marilyn (Jack) Garrison - Enid, Oklahoma Several nieces and nephews No services will be held at this time. Ron will be laid to rest in Enid, Oklahoma. Memorials may be made in his memory to the Lebanon Community of Shalom: Online donations can be made to www.theshalomhouse.org, there you can designate the gift as a memorial and who it is for. If checks are preferred they can be mailed to Shalom House at P.O. Box 135 Lebanon, IN 46052, indicating who the memorial is for. Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street in Lebanon, Indiana and Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home, 2800 N. Van Buren St. in Enid, Oklahoma are handling his arrangements.
