Robert Earl “Bobby” Jones, Jr.

Mr. Robert Earl “Bobby” Jones, Jr., 71, of Lebanon, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was born February 16, 1954, in Lebanon, a son of Lois (Livingston) Jones and the late Robert Earl Jones, Sr.

Bobby was a 1972 graduate of Lebanon High School. He dedicated 42 years of service to Federal Mogul, where he worked faithfully until his retirement. In his free time, Bobby enjoyed watching football, basketball, and NASCAR. He also loved working puzzles and caring for his yard.

Survivors include his loving wife, Melody Jones; his mother, Lois Jones; step-sons, Jake and Jeremy; sister, Kathy Jones (Ronny Norman); and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, Bobby was preceded in death by his son, Robert Earl Jones, III; his grandparents; and sisters, Barbara Lindstrom and Marcia Jones (Ron Britt).

Family and friends will gather on Saturday, September 27, 2025, for visitation from 1:30 p.m. until the time of the Celebration of Life service at 3:00 p.m. in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon.
