Paula Jean McIntyre, 76, passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at Independence Village of Zionsville. She was born on November 15, 1948, in Frankfort, Indiana, the daughter of the late Archie Emery Jr. and Betty J. (Green) Emery.
On February 24, 1968, she married Bob McIntyre in Frankfort. He preceded her in death on July 11, 2017.
Paula graduated from Frankfort High School. She was the manager at Roselyn Bakery in Lebanon. She also worked at Boise Cascade Paper.
Paula enjoyed reading, sewing, and camping at Salamonie Lake Modern Campground. Above all she enjoyed spending time with her loved ones.
Survivors include her children, Rebecca A. (Doug) Rogers of Lebanon, Robert E. McIntyre Jr. of Lebanon, and Amy Jo (Craig) Moore of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Robert E. McIntyre, III, Amber D. McIntyre, Matthew Jacob McIntyre, Ryan Douglas Rogers, Kyle Christopher (Olivia) Rogers, Annelise Quinn Moore; great grandchildren, Dreden Lee Clemens, Koralee Ann Clemens, Ryker Leim Wood, Matthew Jacob McIntyre II, and Weston Christopher Rogers; and sisters-in-law, Mary Emery, Janet Inskeep, and Judy Moore.
In addition to her parents and husband, Paula was preceded in death by her brothers, Nelson Emery and Richard Emery; sisters, Deandra Emery and Earlena Leonard; and daughter-in-law, Sylvia McIntyre.
Private family visitation will be held. Myers Mortuary and Boone County Crematory have been entrusted with her cremation arrangements.
