Mr. Paul D. “Bo” Hampton, 84, of Lebanon, passed away Friday, May 22, 2026, at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born February 18, 1942, in Winchester, Kentucky, a son of the late Clifford Lee and Sarah Clay (White) Hampton. Bo married Wanda M. Watts on December 23, 1982 and she survives.
Bo graduated from Lebanon High School with the class of 1961. He worked for Allison Transmission/ General Motors for several years before his retirement.
Bo enjoyed playing drums, along with camping, fishing, boating and telling jokes. He was a member of the Eagles and the NRA.
Survivors include his loving wife, Wanda Hampton; children, Stephanie Hampton, Rhonda Hampton, John Hampton, Jerry (Veronica) Scering, Sherri (Jim) Willhoite, Leah (Rick) Shoe, Dawn (Tim) Smith, and Josh (Sara) Scering; brother-in-law, Roy Young; nephew, Mike (Amy) Young; niece, Karen (Dave) Merritt; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great- great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Bo was preceded in death by his son, Joseph Hampton and sister, Pat Young.
Family and friends will gather Thursday, May 28, for visitation from 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon. Bo will be laid to rest at Lincoln Memory Gardens in Whitestown.
