Michael Wayne Hawkins

Michael Wayne Hawkins, 71, passed away at his home in Lebanon, Indiana on Friday, October 31, 2025. He was born December 1, 1953, in Lebanon; a son of the late Harold N. and Katherine G. (Jamison) Hawkins.

On January 14, 2004, he married Tammy F. (Boyer) Hawkins in Lebanon; she survives.

Michael was a student at Lebanon High School and held a position as a drywall finisher.

He enjoyed fishing and cheering on the New York Yankees. Most of all he enjoyed the time he spent with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Tammy Hawkins; children, Jennifer Harding of Bay City, Michigan, Chris (Michelle) Hawkins of Frankfort, Indiana, Katie (Brandon) Gates of Bay City, Michigan, and Krystal Boyer of Frankfort, Kentucky; stepson, Eric (Ashley) Boyer of Lebanon; thirteen grandchildren; and sisters, Cheryl (Art) Maxwell of Lebanon and Delma (Rusty) Warren of Lebanon.

In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his sister, Judith Westerfield.

No services are planned. Myers Mortuary and Boone County Crematory have entrusted with his cremation arrangements.
