Marilyn A. Klink, 86, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 20, 2025, in her home at Hoosier Village, surrounded by her family.
Born on February 10, 1939, in Wolcott, Indiana, Marilyn was the daughter of Joseph and Leona (Glotzbach) Vogel. She graduated from Wolcott High School in 1957. Marilyn married George Klink of Chalmers, IN on June 8, 1957, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Remington, Indiana. He passed away in 2003, after sharing 46 years with her, and together they were the parents of six children. They were long time farmers in Boone County. Marilyn was a true farm wife spending countless hours working alongside her husband on the farm. This is where she found her true happiness.
Marilyn enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren and watching IU basketball. She was an active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Lebanon and enjoyed being involved with the ladies at the church. In 2021 she moved to Hoosier Village in Zionsville, IN.
She is survived by her children, Mike (Pattie) Klink of Sunset, SC, Jim (Tammy) Klink of Rockville, IN, Suzanne Barkley (Kevin Titsworth) of Lebanon, John (Bernice) Klink of Cypress, TX, Tim (Chrissy) Klink of Lebanon, and Tom Klink of South Haven, MI. Marilyn also leaves behind 25 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren who she loved dearly. She is also survived by her brother, Leo “Tony” (Lisa) Vogel of St. Charles, MO.
In addition to her parents and husband, Marilyn was preceded in death by siblings, Donald, Robert, Francis, Joetta (Sister Joseph Ann), and two daughters-in-law, Tami (John) Klink and Andrea (Tom) Klink.
Visitation will be held on from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Monday, November 24, 2025, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street in Lebanon, Indiana. Rosary service will take place at 3:30 p.m. prior to the visitation. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 25th at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 319 East South Street in Lebanon, Indiana. Interment will follow services at St. Joseph Cemetery in Lebanon.
Memorials may be directed in her memory to St. Joseph Catholic Church.
