LHS Student-Athletes Attend Leadership Conference

LHS student-athletes Brooks Johnson, Andrew Kaylor, Sophia Kyker, Ali Bir, Katie Boling, Madeline LePlae, Tannon Monden, Owen Taylor, and Aubrey Goodlett had the opportunity to attend the IHSAA Student Leadership Conference Tuesday at the iconic Indianapolis Motor Speedway. 

Throughout the day, they heard from inspiring speakers including Doug Boles, Missy West, Omari Pearson, and Steve Emt. Topics included leadership, overcoming adversity, positive character development, sportsmanship, and striving to be your best every day, in and out of competition.  

In addition to the powerful sessions, the students took a tour of the IMS track, kissed the famous bricks, and learned about the “Rules of the Road.”
