Tuesday at the Indiana NENA APCO Conference, Lincoln Lee of the Boone County Sheriff’s Department was honored with the Tele-Communicator of the Year Award!
This award recognizes a dispatcher who goes above and beyond—someone who makes a noticeable impact on public safety and the lives of others. Since joining the Boone County Sheriff’s Office in June of 2023, Lee has made a lasting impression on both the first responders he supports and the citizens of Boone County.
In addition to his daily work as a dispatcher, Lee also serves as a Communications Training Officer (CTO), helping prepare and guide new Tele-Communicators as they begin their careers in public safety.
