Lebanon Fire Called To House Fire

At 1:14 am this morning fire crews were dispatched to 808 N. West St. in Lebanon on a house fire. First arriving LPD officers advised heavy smoke was coming from the home. An aggressive interior attack was initiated to bring the fire under control. Additional crews from Whitestown and Zionsville were called to assist on the scene and with city coverage. Multiple family pets were rescued. There were no civilian injuries reported. One Firefighter was injured (minor) and transported to Witham Hospital. LFD investigators were called to the scene to begin an origin and cause investigation. A kitchen appliance was targeted as the cause. The Boone County Salvation Army was called to the scene to provide disaster relief to the family.
