Lebanon Fire Announce New Promotions

At Monday night’s Lebanon City Council meeting, Lebanon Fire Department swore in two newly promoted Fire Officers and introduced our newly appointed Fire Marshal and Fire Inspector. Kristopher Perry, a 9-year veteran of the department, was promoted from Lieutenant to the newly created rank of Division Chief of Training and Safety. Chief Perry will oversee the department’s incumbent training programs, coordinate new recruit training, and serve as LFD’s Incident Safety Officer. Sam Kornicks, a 7-year veteran of LFD, was promoted from Firefighter to the rank of Lieutenant. Lieutenant Kornicks has assumed command of Engine 211 A-Shift.

Chief Batts also had the honor of introducing Fire Marshal Mark Brown and Inspector Mike Francis. Marshal Brown and Inspector Francis handle all of LFD’s commercial building inspection and code enforcement duties.
