Jaimé Muñoz

Mr. Jaimé Muñoz, 80, of Lebanon, passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at his home. He was born August 11, 1945, in Medellín, Colombia.

Jaimé married Dianne (Hinesley, Smith) Muñoz on April 19, 1980, and she survives.

Jaimé worked as a truck driver for Marathon Oil for many years until his retirement. A man of many interests, he earned his commercial pilot’s license and enjoyed flying small aircraft planes. He also had a passion for classic cars and cherished the time spent at their second home in Oneida, Tennessee.

Survivors include his loving wife of 45 years, Dianne Muñoz; children, Randy (Melissa) Smith, Jacob (Darien) Muñoz, Jaime A. Muñoz, Karla Muñoz, and Kim Muñoz; grandchildren, Hailey Muñoz, Noah Muñoz, Kala (Robbie) Newell, Michael Smith, Chloe Smith, great-grandson, Jax, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom reside in Oneida, Tennessee 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jaimé’s memory may be made to Chicken Nugget and Gang, 555 N. County Road 650 E., Lebanon, IN 46052, or to Sylvia’s Child Advocacy Center, 208 E. Washington Street, Lebanon, IN 46052.

Family and friends will gather Monday, March 23, for a funeral service at 1:00 p.m., with visitation following until 4:00 p.m., in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon.
