Heather Dawn Spurlock

Heather Dawn Spurlock, 46, passed away Thursday morning, February 5, 2026, at her home in Thorntown, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Indianapolis on December 14, 1979, a daughter of the late Linda K. (Mitchell) Bordwine.

On April 11, 2018, she was married to Mark Edward Spurlock in Lebanon; he survives.

A lifelong resident of Boone County, Heather was a 1999 graduate of Western Boone High School. She had worked for a period of time as a home health aide.

Heather loved her family, especially spending time with her nieces and nephews. She enjoyed swimming and going on adventures.

Survivors include her husband, Mark E. Spurlock; stepdaughter, Caitlin (Dustin) Willburn of Lebanon; grandchildren: Henslee Willburn, Bronnson Willburn, Lilah Willburn, and Shaun Sims, III; sister, Amber (Derrick) Stanley of Anderson; nieces, Brookelynn Bordwine of Anderson and Kaylynn Cole and fiancé, Braydon Babb of Frankfort; great nephews, Bentley Babb and Weston Babb.

Funeral Services are planned for 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana. Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until the time of the service. Interment will follow at the Cox Cemetery, rural Thorntown.

Memorials may be directed in Heather’s memory to the charity of the donor’s choice.
