Frankfort Street Superintendent Jason Forsythe Resigns

The City of Frankfort Street Superintendent Jason Forsythe has announced his resignation, effective February 7, 2025. Forsythe has accepted a position as the Director of Public Works for the Town of Whitestown.

Forsythe has served the City of Frankfort since April 2015. During his tenure, he has been a valuable team member to the city and will be greatly missed. Mayor Judy Sheets commented, "Jason brought several innovative ideas and infrastructure grants to better our City roadways during his time here. I appreciate his service to our community and will miss having be a part of my leadership team.” The City wishes him the best in his future endeavors.

His resignation will be officially accepted by the Board of Public Works during their next meeting on Monday, February 10, 2025. Mayor Judy Sheets is currently in the process of hiring an Interim Street Superintendent.
