Ford Road Bridge Update

The Indiana Department of Transportation announces brief, overnight stoppages are planned on I-865 for beam setting on the Ford Road bridge in Boone County.

On or after Monday, October 5 between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m., 20-minute stoppages will occur on I-865 westbound around Ford Rd. The I-465 northbound ramp to I-865 westbound will be closed. Drivers should follow the official detour of I-465 eastbound, turn around at U.S. 421 (Michigan Road), and back onto I-465 westbound.

On or after Tuesday, October 6 between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m., 20-minute stoppages will occur on I-865 eastbound around Ford Rd. No ramp closures are planned for this night of beam setting.
