Elizabeth Marie (Moore) Rhodes December 11, 1959 - March 31, 2025

Elizabeth Rhodes, Indianapolis, passed away on March 31, 2025, at the age of 65. Liz is the daughter of Barbara Ann and Maynard Leroy Moore, who preceded her in death. Growing up in a family of many siblings and in a small neighborhood in the country, life was spent outside.

Brothers, Mark (Susan) Cafouras, Rodney (deceased) Cafouras, Kurt Moore (Liz's twin) and Sister, Lynne (Bob) Moore Schrock shared many great times together. Summers were spent on the family boat water skiing, the family's huge garden (lots of kids to feed), many summers in Minnesota on fishing trips, leading to Liz's lifelong love of being in the outdoors gardening and nature. Liz learned to cook at a young age, developing a lifelong passion for creating delicious meals and sharing them with family and friends. She also enjoyed music and playing poker. Liz graduated from Pike High School in 1977 and was hired by 3M where she worked for 25 years.

Liz and Marc (deceased) Rhodes have two daughters, Abbey (Varun) Koneru (Kaia granddaughter), Audrey (Adam) Rodman (Lennon and Margot granddaughters). Also survived by Liz is her partner, Mark Guest, with whom they enjoyed time together, until her passing. Other survivors include a son, Brian Cunningham, Half Brothers Robert (Deceased) Moore, Frank Moore, Nephews, Joshua (Courtney) Spear, Jason (Rodney) Cafouras, Great-Niece Olivia, and Great-Nephew Corbin. 

In addition, surviving are many friends, Liz enjoyed spending time traveling on girl weekends, hanging out, giggling like schoolgirls and all the fun that keeps us young. Liz loved her life and her family. She was always a forgiving person and one of her favorite sayings, "Karma's a Bitch."

Services will be Saturday, April 12, 2025, 10:00 a.m. at Strawmyer and Drury Funeral Home, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon, Indiana 46052. 

Burial will follow at West Ridge Park Cemetery, 9295 W. 21st Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46234.
