Donna Louise Spencer

Donna Louise Spencer, age 70, passed peacefully on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. Born February 6, 1955, in Lebanon, Indiana, Donna was the daughter of the late Ernest DeWayne and Sonja Lee (Padgett) Williams.

She attended Thorntown schools and graduated from Lebanon High School, where she transferred as a junior. Donna was formerly married to Mitchell Wayne “Mike” Spencer, and together they shared cherished family ties.

A gifted seamstress and steady presence in her community, Donna held positions at Aero Drapery, Modern Cleaners, local medical offices, and several retail establishments, including Bon Worth in Lebanon. She especially enjoyed her time at “The Beehive” during the Boone County Fair, where she brought her trademark spirit to fairgoers each year.

Creative and kind-hearted, Donna found joy in playing cards and crafting needlepoint projects. She also deeply valued her years of sisterhood in Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, where she built lasting friendships and found a sense of belonging.

Donna is lovingly remembered by her son, Joshua Spencer of Lebanon; her granddaughter, Catlyne (Brad) DeBildt; and great-granddaughter, Isabella of Troutville, Virginia. She is also survived by her sister, Catherine (Ken) Morrison of Lafayette; and brother, Kenneth (Phyllis) Williams of Findlay, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by three children in infancy—Ernest, Rachel, and Jeremiah—and her brother, Daniel R. Williams, Sr.

No services are planned at this time. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Myers Mortuary and Boone County Crematory.
