On February 12, 2025, at approximately 10:11 p.m., Frankfort Police responded to the 600 Block of East Washington St for a report of a domestic. After an investigation, a decision was made to arrest the suspect.
The suspect was located at a different address where he briefly barricaded himself. Officers negotiated with him and he exited a room within that house and was arrested.
20-year-old, Juan Gomez Hernadez, of Frankfort, was arrested on the following requested charges:
Intimidation with Deadly Weapon
IC 35-45-2-1 (Level 5 Felony)
Domestic Battery with Moderate Bodily Injury
IC 35-42-2-1.3 (Level 6 Felony)
Strangulation
IC 35-42-2-9 (Level 6 Felony)
Criminal Confinement
IC 35-42-3-3 (Level 6 Felony)
Criminal Recklessness with Deadly Weapon
IC 35-42-2-2 (Level 6 Felony)
Illegal Consumption of Alcohol by Minor
IC 7.1-5-7-7 (Class C Misdemeanor)
All reports will be reviewed by the Clinton County Prosecutor. Deputies from the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office assisted.
