City Of Frankfort Fire Chief Announces Burn Ban

   The City of Frankfort announces burn ban. The ban took effect at 7:00pm October 1. All outdoor burning activities are prohibited within the city limits and contracted areas in which Frankfort Fire Department serves; including Center Township, Jackson Township, Union Township and portions of Washington Township. Violations of the burn ban may result in fines and penalties as stipulated by local ordinances. This ban will remain in effect till October 8, 2025, or until the time that the Fire Chief has concluded that the ban should be lifted based on “No Threat to lives, property, and the environment”.
