Mr. Christopher Alan Lewis, 44, of West Lafayette, passed away on December 4, 2025. He was born June 1, 1981, in St. Petersburg, FL, a son of Craig Lee and Margaret Jane (Shrack) Lewis. Christopher married Amber Lewis on June 3, 2023, and she survives.
Christopher graduated from Lebanon High School with the Class of 2000. He had worked for Lowe’s, then for Venture Logistics, and most recently for Stoops Freightliner as a service advisor.
Christopher loved all sports and was an enthusiastic fan of the New England Patriots and the University of Alabama. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, and going on many adventures. His family meant everything to him, and he often said that his dog, Brinkley, and his wife were his whole world. He had a love of all things Charlie Brown and Snoopy. Christopher was a faithful member of River City Church in Lafayette.
Survivors include his wife, Amber Lewis of West Lafayette; children, Bryce Johnson and Jolene “Joey” Camblor, both of Lebanon; his parents, Craig and Margaret Lewis of Sheridan; sister, Amanda Lewis (Michael McCabe); mother-in-law, Marcia Owens; sister-in-law, Autumn (Ken) Scircle; grandfather-in-law, William Woodard; nephews, Parker (Trinity), Dylan, Gavin, and Ryan Lewis, and Jackson Scircle; his uncle and aunt, Alan and Darlene Lewis; aunt, Jeanie Shrack; and several cousins.
Christopher was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Forrest and Helen Lewis; maternal grandparents, Franklin and Marilynn Shrack; brother, Ryan Lewis; father-in-law, Jeff Owens; grandmother-in-law, Charlene Woodard; and uncle, James Shrack.
Memorial contributions in his memory may be made to the Humane Society of Boone County, 5366 S. Indianapolis Road, Whitestown, IN 46075.
Family and friends will gather on Saturday, December 13, for visitation from 1 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 4 p.m., in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N.
