Carpenter Nature Preserve Is Closer To Opening To The Public

Thursday, the Town of Zionsville celebrated the completion of Phase 1 at Carpenter Nature Preserve. Located on the site of the former Wolf Run Golf Club, the 215-acre Carpenter Nature Preserve is the first park in Union Township and the largest nature preserve in Boone County. Phase 1 includes new trails, scenic overlooks, the Prairie Pavilion, a Nature Playground, habitat restoration and more.

 PLEASE NOTE: Carpenter Nature Preserve is not yet open to the public. Following recent weather impacts and final site stabilization efforts, the preserve is expected to officially open in mid-June.
