Bixler Sentenced To 50 Years

A Zionsville man will spend 50 years in prison for the murder of his mother. Graham Bixler, 33, was sentenced Nov. 4 in Boone County Circuit Court by Judge Lori Schein. Bixler was found guilty but mentally ill in the 2024 murder of his mother, Kristin Bixler. The state proved beyond a reasonable doubt Bixler knowingly or intentionally killed his mother in a contested bench trial last month.
