A Whitestown Police Officer was hurt in a crash Wednesday night around 11:30 on I-65 North. The officer was slowing down in the median side emergency lane with the lights activated when the officer was hit by another car that was speeding. Both the officer and driver of the other car were taken to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. Since the accident the officer was released from the hospital and is now recovering at home.
