Thorntown Sugar Creek Fire Department Called To House Fire

At approximately 9:27 PM on Sunday May 11, units from the Thorntown Surgar Creek Fire Department were dispatched to a residential structure fire on County Road N 200 W. A Thorntown Fire unit arrived shortly after and confirmed a working fire with flames visible from the rear of the home.

Lebanon Fire’s Engine 212 arrived and initiated the fire attack while Engine 61 conducted a primary search. Tanker units on scene ensured a steady water supply as crews worked quickly to bring the fire under control and begin overhaul operations.

Crews remained on scene for about two and a half hours. The home did suffer extensive damage.
