Thorntown Heritage Museum To Host Memorial Day Service

The Thorntown Heritage Museum will host a Memorial Day Service Monday, May 25 at the museum. The service will begin at 10am on the Museum’s front lawn. Boone County Reserve Deputy Tom Melville will be the guest speaker for the ceremony and will sing the National Anthem.
Following the program, the Thorntown Heritage Museum will have an open house marking the start of its 2026 open season. The Thorntown Heritage Museum is open Saturdays from Memorial Day through September from 11am- 3pm. Tours are always free. Weekday tours can be requested by appointment by calling 765-436-7348 or emailing kwamsley@thorntownpl.org.
