State Road 47 To Close For Road Reconstruction

The Indiana Department of Transportation announces the closure of State Road 47 for road reconstruction near Sheridan in Hamilton County.

Beginning on or after Monday, September 22, S.R. 47 will close between County Line Road and Wesco Parkway for approximately one month. During this closure, the official detour will follow State Road 38 to U.S. 421. This is the first phase of work in the S.R. 47 Roadway Improvement Project, which aims to reconstruct S.R. 47 from County Line Rd. to S.R. 38 and construct a roundabout at S.R. 47 and S.R. 38.
